What Does a Green Porch Light Mean in WA?
Any more it seems that every color of the rainbow is reserved for something. There has been pink ribbons, blue pumpkins, orange hats, If there's a tangible item, there's bound to be a color associated to it so others can spread whatever message they'd like to spread.
Green porch lights; have you seen them?
This is an easy that anyone can do. All it takes is finding a green light bulb. But what does it mean?
What does a green porch light mean?
That your place is fill with green slime?
That you love money?
That you're envy of the block?
Well, not exactly.
Green porch lights are simply to show your appreciation to our United States military vets.
It comes from a campaign for 'Greenlight a Vet' to show up and love and support for our veterans.
This doesn't even need to be a thing you can do for Memorial Day or Veteran's Day. I mean, you could do that, too, and maybe have added emphasis on those days, especially Veteran's Day, but no need to wait for a specific day or time of year.
Any day is a good day to change your porch light to green to show your appreciation to our military veterans.
That's all and that's it, really. A green porch light just means that people in that house love their military veterans and want you to know about it and, if you are a veteran yourself, that there are people who always have you in their thoughts.
