If you have ever driven around Yakima, you know that potholes are a common road hazard. And now that winter is over, city crews are getting ready to do something about it -- but they are asking for your help.

City officials want you to tell them if you know of a pothole or potholes -- do them a solid and report it so they can get to work. The coordination of fixing potholes is an event in itself as the asphalt is only good for one day, so the more they can get done at once, the better.

That being said, when the city does get to working on the potholes, please remember to slow down if you see crews on the street.

To report a pothole, visit their website or call the city's street repair hotline at 576-6713.
