Leading into the warmer spring to summer months is the worst time to issue a recall on ice cream treats, but better now than being too late, I suppose.

According to the FDA, Tropicale Foods from California is issuing a recall on their popular Helados Mexico minis variety pack as they may contain salmonella. The mango bars, specifically.

The easiest way to see if you have one that should be returned is look for the best by date of 10/11/2025.

You'll find it here.

Links to salmonella are never anything to play around with or experience. Fortunately, no cases of salmonella have been reported, yet, but here's hoping we keep it that way.

These have been distributed all over the US as well as parts of Europe.

Product was distributed at retail locations in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virgina, Wisconsin, West Virgina, Washington, DC, and certain locations in Europe.

Although Washington State isn't listed nor is Oregon or California, I wouldn't risk it as you never know.

If you're one who has this in their freezer should chuck it in the trash. Do not eat. If you have any questions, they ask you call them at 909-563-3090.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
