Help Celebrate with These Amazing Local-Area YouTube Channels

There's a lot of talent on YouTube. So many of today's mega-stars and people your kids look up to are being discovered on YouTube by just having fun. I mean, after all, it's free to start and host your own YouTube channel. Many do it now as a full-time job through sponsorships and endorsements.

There are something like 17 million active YouTube channels so you'd think there'd be several channels from right here in the Yakima Valley. I asked around a little and found a handful. I know these aren't every YouTube channel from people in the Yakima Valley. I'm hoping others will find this article and add their channel to this list as well.

As it turns out, there are several. Some advice channels, podcast channels, music channels and more. A little something for everyone.

I went through each channel and just grabbed the most popular video from each channel or just a recent video that looked like it represented what the channel was all about for you to check out. If you like what you see, drop them a sub!

While the almost self-replicating nature of these vague symbols can get exhausting, memes in their essence can also bring people closer together—as long as they have internet access.
