When Russell Wilson takes the field for on September 9th in Arizona, he won’t be the only rookie to start a season at quarterback for the Seahawks.  Who were the others?

Rookie Russell Wilson won coach Pete Carroll’s training camp competition, earning the starting job over incumbent Tavaris Jackson and free agent acquisition Matt Flynn. Wilson’s emergence made Jackson expendable, and he was traded to the Buffalo Bills. Flynn will be the backup, and second year man Josh Portis will be the third stringer.

How many other rookie quarterbacks have started the season for the Seahawks?
