It's no question that sleep is extremely important to just about everyone in the world, but being productive is equally as important ... so why do we spend so much time in bed? You could be asking how much time exactly are you saying when you say "so much time"? A new study has come out with a number that might shock you.

Now this study is not just based on sleeping, it's based on things like reading a book, watching TV ... and doing extracurricular activities in bed. That being said, the average person spends approximately 11 hours a day in bed! ELEVEN HOURS! If that doesn't make you want to get up and get moving, I don't know what will.

Can you imagine all the other things that could get done if you would spend less time in bed?
