With thousands of people looking for deals at Yakima's Biggest Yard Sale, here's your Shopping Tip of the Day: Make your first purchase count.

In this case, we spotted some sturdy-looking luggage, which got us to thinking ... well, you see where we’re going with this.

Anyhow, start by buying something like, say, luggage — anything that can carry more stuff. (Backpacks would work, too.) Load it up with other stuff (jewelry, fishing lures or whatever), then go set it on a lawn mower, a wheelbarrow or whatever and off you go!
