Quick question for you: Is putting cheese on everything just something we do in the Northwest? I had an interesting experience with my barbecue the other day.

A few days ago I used a recipe to make Carolina-style pulled pork. What that means is, apparently, it's a vinegar base cooking the pork in a slow cooker like a crockpot in apple cider vinegar. The finished product has a tang to it. I liked it, but put a slice of cheese right on it. I shared the photo on Twitter and got some backlash for it. They didn't understand why I would "ruin" a perfectly good pulled pork sandwich by putting cheese on it. When I told them it was because I didn't like coleslaw, that turned into a whole 'nother issue for another time.

So, how about you? Do you put cheese on everything? I do, for the most part. I think it's an integral part of any sandwich or burger.
