These included surprising things like ferries (who would have thought).

If you have lived in Washington long enough, you can probably already guess a few of the other things on the list, like housing and substitute teachers.

Our California neighbors have their own list of shortages to grapple with. Besides affordable housing, they are facing construction workers shortages and other skilled labor workers in 2024.
