Yakima Council Moves Meeting for National Night Out!
The Yakima City Council will hold a regular meeting at 5:30 pm Monday. The meeting has been moved from the usual first Tuesday night of the month because to National Night Out activities planned the evening of Tuesday.

A PARTY ON A MONDAY
City council members are expected to visit area neighborhoods where people will be celebrating National Night Out. But tonight everyone is invited to the OIC of Washington National Night Out celebration from 5:15 pm to 7:30 pm at the Henry Beauchamp Community Center, located at 1211 S. Seventh Street.
NO TAX TALK
While the council has been busy talking about a tax hike proposal to fill a $9 million budget deficit there's no talk about taxes this week.
