The Cleanest Places to Eat in Yakima County – They Passed Restaurant Inspections Perfectly

Do you ever look at stopping in to eat in a restaurant and think, I've never been there...Are they clean? Do they wash their hands? Is the food any good? I sure do!

Sure, I could give you a list of all the restaurants in Yakima County that failed their inspections, but today, I wanted to highlight the restaurants that passed their routine restaurant inspections so far in 2025 with a PERFECT SCORE. (As of the time of this writing, the only available reports are from January thru May 2025.)

I'm talking eateries that didn't need a follow-up or compliance inspection, or even a rare 8-week review. These places got everything right the first time. Kudos to each of you!

From Food Trucks to Churches: Who Gets Inspected in Yakima?

In Yakima County, the Health Department thoroughly reviews everything from movie theaters to food trucks, caterers, grocery stores, convenience stores, motels/hotels, nonprofits that serve food to the public, wineries, breweries, and even pop-up restaurants. I even saw a CHURCH on the health food inspection list.

In my silly brain, I picture an inspector from the Yakima County Health Department standing there with a clipboard like, "You can ALL catch this smoke, and may the odds ever be in your favor!"
