Yakima Forecast For The Week of December 12th

Many roads are still unplowed following the dump of the wet white stuff at the end of last week. This is going to mean slick road conditions this week, with much of that residual snow turning into ice as temperatures plunge.

This week the forecast doesn't include more snow, but cold temperatures getting into the single-digits overnight later in the week. Fog is included in the forecast making the combination of icy roads and poor visibility a challenge for motorists.

Cascade Mountain Pass Conditions Forecast to be Snow-Free

Not much snow on the mountain passes this week. Mostly sunny skies are expected through at least mid-week on Snoqualmie and White passes.

Skiers should be expecting very nice conditions as plenty of snow has fallen in the past week, and along with sunshine, there should be plenty of photo opportunities on the hill.
