True crime is still all the rage on Netflix and other streamers. I know I’ve binged my fair share of Mindhuter, Making a Murderer, and Dahmer. These shows are a double-edged sword. On the one hand, they’re great for entertainment and informing people of the dangers that do exist. On the same note, they may be desensitizing viewers to the real-life terrors in our cities and the world.

The truth is bad things do happen, and bad guys do exist. They can escape and never get caught. Evil can win, but only if we let it. While looking on the net at different Department of Corrections websites, I realized how many fugitives escape and are never apprehended. What? Some people look at things on Reddit or craigslist, and I keep an eye on criminal websites, don’t judge.
