Sprite + Tea Review: The Summer Iced Tea Replacement in the Yakima Valley?
I’ve often wondered why we don’t have carbonated tea. I’ve even tried to make some carbonated sun tea once, and by the time it was ready to try, it was flat and tasted like normal tea. So when I spotted soda + tea, I had to grab a bottle. So here is my Timmy Tries review for Sprite + Tea.
I think I would have preferred a different type of soda to mix with Tea, Pepsi, or Coke, but because Sprite is clear, it makes the most sense. However, if this turns out to be good, I may double my efforts and tea bags with a bottle of Dr. Pepper.

This review is not a paid advertisement for or against this or any brand or flavor of soft drink. I just enjoy pop, and when I saw this one at a store in Yakima, I purchased it with my own money. While my co-workers are having fun with National fast food chain hacks and reviewing Lay’s chips, I’m going for the mash-up I’ve wandered about for years: soda + tea.
Yakima Man’s Taste Test of Sprite + Tea
Opening the lid, I heard the hiss and bubble sounds that come with opening a freshly carbonated bottle of soda. I smelled it, and it smelled like tea. Could this be it? Could I have finally gotten good carbonated tea?
It tasted like… Sprite. Which isn’t bad; I like Sprite. Then, a hint of regular Tea taste. Upon more drinks, the citrus flavors weren’t as strong, and the tea flavor came out more and more.
I enjoyed it. Not as much as the Sprite Chill that I reviewed a while ago (check out that review here).
2nd Opinion Taste Test of Sprite + tea
My wife, who loves tea but doesn’t drink soda, was a little hesitant to try it. After twisting her arm, she finally did. She does not care for sweet tea, and doesn't drink soda. So it didn't sit well with her. Which is good... more for me.
