A Sneak Peek at Tactical Terror on Yakima Ave
There are a lot of haunted houses and ghostly adventures this time of year, but very few give you the opportunity to interact with the exhibit.
Not just interact but to fight back.
To Survive! That is Tactical Terror!
Tactical Tag on Yakima Ave. has transformed its massive 3 story, 15,000 square foot building, into a fun trek into a George Romero film.
I have been through a handful of Halloween attractions and ‘haunted houses’ in my life, and I must say, this was one of the more fun ones, and that was all due to the ‘armed recruit’ element.
My wife and I took a stroll through the undead-infested corridors at 315 West Yakima Avenue and had a blast.
She went in as an ‘Armed Recruit’ where she was armed with a Tactical Tag, Laser Tag rifle. Perfect for delivering headshots and keeping the horde at bay.
I went in as a 'civilian' (since I was trying to take pictures and video of the event), but I still had just as much fun, especially with my wife using me as a human shield.
Without giving away the plot of the adventure, once you enter Tactical Terror, you’re greeted by a soldier who is about ready to embark on a mission when you and other recruits show up.
You’re briefed on the situation (as little as is known at the time), and then you’re off, guns blazing (although, be mindful of your ammo).
The only words of warning I will give is if you have issues with stairs, loud noises, or flashing lights, this might not be the adventure for you.
Take a sneak peek of the video below. Hunt or be Hunted, and Happy Halloween!
