Author Fair & Market In Yakima Photo Recap! 'A Real Page Turner'

This past weekend saw the return of The Author Fair! A fun get-together that brought authors from around the Pacific Northwest to one spot for people to meet, ‘talk shop’, see what is new in the world of literature, and learn about local artists! We have a recap of the event, including many photos from the authors below.

With the sun shining and the wind (thankfully) only at a breeze, the 'Bookstores Unite Author Fair & Market' took place in the parking lot between the KFC/A&W Restaurant and Encore Books on the corner of South 5th Avenue and West Walnut Street in Yakima.

The event was a collaboration between Encore Books (415 W Walnut St) and Yakima Book Co, also known as The Traveling Book Bus (1115 W Lincoln Ave), and was (to the best of my knowledge) the 2nd Author Fair that has occurred ever since new ownership took over Encore Books.

The best part is there are plans for another Author Fair later this year (stay tuned for details about that).

Authors and vendors were there in full force, ready to share their joys (writing and crafting) with the Yakima Valley.
