The weekend is finally nigh! It's time to get out there and have some fun after working a long week. We checked in with our friends at VisitYakima.com to see what fun happenings are going on this weekend. We're starting the weekend early because there is a LOT happening in the Yakima Valley beginning Thursday, September 14th, thru Sunday, September 17th.

YAKIMA VALLEY WEATHER FOR 9/14 - 9/17

DAYTIME TEMPS FOR YAKIMA VALLEY:

We're expecting lots of sunshine in the Yakima Valley, with temps in the mid-90s, so bring your sunglasses and sun hats if you'll be out during the daytime.

EVENING/NIGHT TIME TEMPS FOR YAKIMA VALLEY:

Bring your jackets and light coats because the temps will dip down to the mid-50s this weekend.

THINGS TO DO THIS WEEKEND IN THE YAKIMA VALLEY

The Yakima Valley is lucky to have a few festivals this weekend, so if wine, music, food, or family-friendly fun is your thing, this is the time to enjoy it. We also included a few notable upcoming events for next weekend, including the huge air balloon rally out in Prosser and the start of the Central Washington State Fair.

Whether you want to indulge in some karaoke, local theater, wine tastings, wine + yoga, art gallery exhibit openings, farmers markets, car shows, street cruise, happy hours, brunch, trivia, Mainstreet celebrations in small town USA, roller derby match-ups, live music, open mic nights, or U-Pick fun, there's an event for that in here somewhere!
