When was the last time you wrote a letter to Santa? It’s a fun practice in penmanship, holiday fun, and Christmas wishes. There’s a fun event coming up in Yakima to handle all of those Christmas wish lists from kids who hope to be on the Nice List, and we have the details below.

A Long Time Christmas Tradition.

The lights, the cookies, the presents, the parties, the special holiday movies, there are so many traditions to keep track of this time of year, but one that might be on the back burner, but is also one of the oldest, it’s the Christmas cards, and some of the most important things sent through the mail are the letters to Santa!

2025 Drive-Thru Letters To Santa Event!

Yakima Parks & Recreation is inviting the public to bring their letters to the North Pole addressed to Santa, get them in the mail, and attend a fun ‘Drive-Thru’ event.

Saturday, December 13th, from 5:30 pm to 7 pm at Public Works (2301 Fruitvale Blvd. in Yakima), you’re welcome to make some holiday memories for the kiddos and get their letters mailed off to Santa!

This Free Drive-Thru event will feature festive lights, fun Christmas music, decorated trucks, and handouts for children (while supplies last), and best of all… smiles and holiday cheer.

Now, since this is Santa’s busy time of the year, Mrs. Claus will be there, greeting cars as they arrive at the special North Pole mailbox.
