I'm old enough to remember when Downtown Summer Nights was every Thursday down on historic Front Street in Yakima.
We had some good crowds who brought their favorite comfy lawn chairs, the kids, some sun visor hats and sunglasses, and a 'ready to party' attitude.
Those good old days keep on keeping on and as we learned last year, Downtown Summer Nights is now held at the new Rotary Pavilion in downtown Yakima!
WHAT IS DOWNTOWN SUMMER NIGHTS IN YAKIMA?
This year there is something NEW coming to Downtown Summer Nights and I can't wait to tell you about it, but first, if you've never been, come expecting lots of fun with live music, a beer garden, kids activities, and of course, delicious local FOOD!
On designated Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 9, the Downtown Association of Yakima provides FREE concerts to the public! The bands include local and nationally touring bands.
It's like dancing in the streets, literally!
Downtown Summer Nights will bring back the famous misting tents, for those moments when it gets just a bit too hot out there in the downtown Yakima sunshine!
WHAT'S NEW TO DOWNTOWN SUMMER NIGHTS THIS YEAR?
Now you can skip the long lines in the beer garden with the new VIP Fast Pass!
The VIP Fast Pass wristband gives you premium access to a special, expedited line at the beer garden. The new Fast Pass VIP wristband ensures quicker service, allowing you to enjoy your favorite drinks without the long wait.
