Just three singers remain on CBS's singing reality show, The Road. Sunday night's (Dec. 14) decision was heartbreaking in real-time, but hardly a surprise.

This week, we re-ordered our list of eliminated contestants to show their place on the show. Therefore, Blaine Bailey (eliminated first) is first, followed by Olivia Harms etc ... The three remaining artists are last; of course the list contains spoilers if you're not caught up.

Here's everything you need to know about the singers on The Road, including who went home after Ep. 9.

This list will be updated weekly to reflect who was eliminated.

  • The finale episode of The Road airs on CBS Dec. 21 at 9PM CT.
  • Keith Urban, Blake Shelton and Gretchen Wilson are the stars of the show, serving as judges / coaches (Urban and Shelton) and tour manager (Wilson).
  • A variety of guest judges (Brothers Osborne, Dustin Lynch, Jordan Davis, Karen Fairchild) have filled in for the touring Shelton in recent weeks.

Who Was Eliminated From The Road?

The Road Episode 9 found the four remaining singers in Nashville. They played an exhibition show at the Bluebird before the voted-on performance at Marathon Music Works. Each singer partnered for a duet before singing a cover and an original.

Since Ep. 4 or 5, three singers (Adam Sanders, Channing Wilson and Cassidy Daniels) have stood out as favorites to win this show and eliminations have gone as one who's watched every episode figured.

Jon Wood's early elimination was the biggest surprise — the rest seemed to fall in line from least to most viable.

That trend continued on Sunday with Britnee Kellogg's elimination. Her off stage remarks seemed to reflect a certain inevitability and while she gave a great performance, it was just fourth best.

A surprise may be coming however. Early on it seemed that either Sanders or Wilson would win this show but Daniels now seems to be the judge and crowd favorite each week. Her style is just so much more dynamic than the two men, and her catalog runs deep.

What Does the Winner of The Road Get?

The Road will air weekly with at least one singer expected to be sent home each episode. Taping took place earlier this year across seven dates in Texas, Oklahoma and Tennessee.

On April 2, the final three competed at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville but the results were kept private. But whoever came out of that night victorious will get quite a prize.

The winner of The Road will receive a $250,000 cash prize, a recording contract, a Red Bull prize package and a performance slot at Stagecoach Country Music Festival next April in California.

He or she will also get a huge boost in popularity. We're going to track Spotify monthly listeners for each of the 12 singers from the start of the show to the end. Currently, Adam Sanders has the most with 121,000 and Briana Adams has the least, with 173.

Who Is on The Road?

No spoilers here. Below you'll only find biographical information about each of the 12 singers on The Road, plus a few popular recordings.

Several have penned hits for other artists. At least one has made a Grand Ole Opry debut and signed a publishing deal.

The 12 singers range in age from 23 years old to 49 and come from Texas, Oklahoma and North Carolina (two singers apiece) as well as small towns in Georgia, Florida, Oregon and Arizona.
