Jason Aldean has announced that he will perform a surprise pop-up show in Greenville, S.C., on Friday (March 16).

Aldean will perform at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville at 7:30PM ET to help celebrate the 2018 Geico Bassmaster Classic. The free performance will take place directly following the Day One weigh-in. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The special free show is sponsored by Field & Stream, an outdoor specialty brand and retailer owned and operated by Dick’s Sporting Goods. Aldean has been a brand ambassador for Field & Stream since 2016.

According to a press release, the Bassmaster Classic is "considered the world championship event of bass fishing." This year's Bassmaster Classic will take place on Lake Hartwell in Greenville and feature more than 50 of the world’s top anglers.

"I’ve always been into pretty much anything outdoors," Aldean says. "I grew up fishing with my dad and grandad, so it’ll be cool to get out there with Field & Stream and be a part of this year’s Bassmaster Classic."

"We’re thrilled to bring to life Field & Stream’s partnership with Jason Aldean through this surprise pop-up show at the world’s premier bass fishing tournament," adds Robby Dorsch, brand manager for Field & Stream. "We know a lot of our consumers are also country music fans, so we’re excited to create this unique experience for those who will be in Greenville for this great event."

Aldean is hitting the road in 2018 for his High Noon Neon Tour, which includes Lauren Alaina and Luke Combs as his support acts. Darius Rucker is reuniting Hootie & the Blowfish for one night only to open the date in Atlanta.

Aldean will also headline at WE Fest in 2018 alongside fellow headliners Carrie Underwood and Florida Georgia Line. WE Fest runs from Aug. 2-4 at Soo Pass Ranch in Detroit Lakes, Minn.
