Just in Time for Pi Day – MOD Pizza has Pocket Pies Starting Today

Thank you, Facebook target marketing! How did they know I love food, new items being added to menus, MOD Pizza, Pi and convenience? Perfect timing as today, March 14th, Pi Day, MOD Pizza adds Pocket Pies to the menu. Well, as soon as I saw this I rushed over to try one for myself. Good thing I skipped breakfast and added to the fact that MOD opens at 10:30 a.m.

Yep.

Well, maybe it's more than that.

They had a few options to choose from. A 4 cheese, an Italian, and a Chicken Bacon Ranch. I opted for the Italian. They set it all up as they would and, when it's done, they hand it to you ready to roll. It still comes in a cardboard box when you get it to go but the paper sleeve is designed so that you can eat it with just your hands. No utensils are needed.

Upon my first bite I got all the flavor I was looking for. Sure, the photos make it out to be this jam packed pocket of pizza and, when I first saw it, I was, like, 'where's all the cheese spilling out?' but the flavor was spot on. I'm not mad at all.

I do love the convenience of having something like this available and I'll grab another when I'm in proximity.
