Kane Brown has shared a new Spanish remix of his "Lost in the Middle of Nowhere," a collaboration with pop star Becky G. Press play above to hear the new version of the track, and watch the just-released music video.

Earlier in the week, Brown teased the new release on Instagram, as well as sharing the artwork for the track. Directed by Alex Alvga and produced by Ryan Huffman, the video shows Brown and Becky G trading verses on the track in front of a lush, jungle-themed backdrop.

Brown has long pulled on diverse musical influences to create his signature style, as evidenced in his sophomore album,  Experiment. "When I named my album Experiment, one of the things that was important to me was to not feel limited sonically in what I could do, including the types of instruments and collaborations," Brown said in a statement, according to Billboard. "I'm a country artist, but I have a range of influences. I didn't feel pressured to keep it in a certain box because of the way my fans have always been there for me, which has led to some amazing chances to branch out and work with people I admire throughout a range of genres, including Becky G."

For her part, Becky G also expressed excitement over the cross-genre collaboration, though she admitted to some trepidation over how country fans might receive the project. "There's definitely this creative freedom, that I feel very liberated by...but why do we have to be put into boxes?" the singer-songwriter told ET. "But at the same time, you're like, 'Am I going to be accepted in this genre? Am I going to be accepted by this community or this audience of fans?'"

Fortunately for fans, the pair went ahead with their collaboration, ultimately giving listeners both an English and 'Spanglish' version to choose from. Elsewhere in his career, Brown is set to perform at the 2019 ACM Awards, where he is also nominated in the category of Single of the Year for his song, "Heaven."
