Lay’s Potato Chips Recalled in Washington and Oregon | “Life-Threatening Allergin”
One of the most popular snacking potato chips is being recalled primarily in Washington State and Oregon due to undeclared ingredient that could be life-threatening.
This comes from both the FDA and Lay's, themselves.
The product in question in the 13 oz. bag of Lay's classic.
Just the giant familiar yellow bag of Lay's classic potato chips in the Party Sized bag.
These are the only ones in question. All other sizes and flavor varieties aren't affected by this recall.
If you happen to have these, look for both the Guaranteed Fresh Date of 11 FEB 2025 on the front of the bag and either of these codes: 6462307xx or 6463307xx
If you have them, return them.
These are being recalled due to undeclared milk ingredients.
If you're allergic, it could be dangerous.
It's fortunate that these are the only one listed in this recall. Lay's sells a lot of potato chips all year 'round.
You may have purchased some in advance for your holiday parties. Bags that match the graunteed fresh date as well as those codes could have been purchased as early as early November so double-check, just in case.
If you have any questions about this the Lay's website will have information on how to handle your return.
Again, no other flavors or styles of Lay's potato chips are being recalled at this moment so if you grabbed something else other than this specific Party Bag sized you'll be fine.
