With the fall season quickly approaching, folks start putting their hearts to good use by helping the less fortunate as we enter into the holiday season. The members of Little Big Town are doing just that by partnering with ConAgra Foods to help with the company’s Child Hunger Ends Here campaign.

Throughout the partnership, LBT’s Karen Fairchild, Jimi Westbrook, Phillip Sweet and Kimberly Schlapman will help bring awareness to the very serious matter and harsh reality that one in five American children does not know where their next meal is coming from. The goal of the campaign is to help inspire others to get involved in their local communities to help end child hunger throughout the United States.

“It is such a privilege to partner with our friends at ConAgra Foods and participate in the great work they are doing every day to end child hunger,” said Little Big Town’s Phillip Sweet. “Having gone through difficulties with my own family and growing up in a single-parent household with five siblings, I’ve had first-hand experience with not knowing sometimes where our next meal was coming from. We had to be creative and work together as a team and a family to make ends meet. We could not have done it without the help of friends and our community. Our children should never have to wonder where their next meal is coming from, and with the passionate work and generosity of everyone involved with ConAgra Foods and this endeavor, hopefully child hunger will one day be a thing of the past.”

Additionally, Little Big Town is recording an exclusive video of the original song ‘Here’s Hope’ in the style of their popular web series ‘Scattered, Smothered, and Covered.’ For more information on the campaign or to help contribute to the cause, click here.
