Popular Retail Store Closing all 400+ Stores in United States including Yakima

It's always unfortunate news when word comes out of more stores closing for good. This one comes from a location that has several stores across the United States including a few here in Washington State as well as a location right here in Yakima.

This time it comes to us from USA Today who have announced that all LL Flooring locations will be closing soon with sales starting as soon as a few days ago.

LL Flooring, formally Lumber Liquidators, just announced bankruptcy a month ago or so and, without a financial backer to bring them back up, they've officially announced they'll be closing shop.

News of stores closing doesn't seem like old news anymore as we're losing more and more of our favorite retail locations all around us. I remember the feeling of when we lost our Borders book store as well as Toys R Us.

In some cases like Radio Shack and K-Mart, Yakima's locations were some of the last locations to remain open as the others started closing. And with Radio Shack, there are still a small handful of stores still open.

That's much like how our Quiznos is still open as most have closed.

I'm not sure what the immediate future will hold for our LL Flooring but I'm hoping they'll remain open as long as they can during this time. Both for the retailer and for the employees' sake.
