Even boxes of cereal that used to be $2 easy run an average of $5.
Outrageous!
Sure, you have to look out for deals as often as you can and know where to shop for what to get the best bargin possible, but sometimes that's not always the easiest solution, either.
Our friends at Delish have had enough and stated they were going to call them out on their platform.

Whole Foods To Temporarily Close A San Francisco Location Due To Rampant Shoplifting
According to Delish, Whole Foods is the most overpriced grocery store.
I have nothing against whole foods, personally. I like the variety and unique items I don't find in most typical stores.
But also, because of that, they may not have your favorite items, either.
We only have 11 locations of Whole Foods in Washington State. Most are in the Seattle/Bellevue area but there's also one in Tacoma and one in Bellingham.

There are a total of zero Whole Foods in all of Eastern Washington. Not even in Spokane.
If you're shopping at Whole Foods you can definitely expect to pay a few bucks more for your groceries. Sometimes more than just a few. But I'm sure you've seen that at other local stores. Places like Fred Meyer and Rosauers that have that health section of foods, usually an aisle or two, and the prices there are more than the processed stuff we're typically used to.
Whole Foods is an entire store like that.
I would welcome a Whole Foods to Yakima, though it'd be unlikely they'd build one here. Still, though, it may be worth a visit if you drive by one but pay attention to those prices as you place items into your basket.

To find out more about how has the price of gas changed throughout the years, Stacker ran the numbers on the cost of a gallon of gasoline for each of the last 84 years. Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (released in April 2020), we analyzed the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline from 1976 to 2020 along with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for unleaded regular gasoline from 1937 to 1976, including the absolute and inflation-adjusted prices for each year.

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.

The 2020 County Health Rankings values were calculated using mortality counts from the 2016-2018 National Center for Health Statistics. The U.S. Census 2019 American Community Survey and America's Health Rankings Senior Report 2019 data were also used to provide demographics on the senior population of each state and the state's rank on senior health care, respectively.

The top five boy names and top five girl names are listed for each state, as well as the number of babies born in 2018 with that name. Historically common names like Michael only made the top five in three states, while the less common name Harper ranks in the top five for 22 states.
