One of my favorite things to talk about is when a new store opens in Yakima.

Anyone in the Yakima Valley is fine but love it when new buildings pop up in West Valley as so often we get a lot of new businesses in Union Gap. I do love Union Gap, but they already have basically all the chain restaurants, local spots, and so much more. West Valley needs more love. I mean, c'mon, if you live in West Valley it takes you a good half an hour to drive from West Valley to Union Gap.

Well, a business just announced it's opening a location in West Valley.

This business already has a location in Union Gap but now you won't need to drive all the way there for the same great service.

What is being built near Walmart in West Valley?

Look out for Les Schwab coming soon.

They're looking at the address 6905 W. Nob Hill so kinda near Walmart.

Les Schwab is a staple store in the Yakima Valley or anywhere across the United States for premium tires and excellent service.

If all goes well, they're hoping to open late next spring.

It'll be fun to see the progress from here on out seeing how it's going and waiting for it to open just in time for new tires for next summer.

Also hoping the new building will inspire other businesses to open more businesses in West Valley. There's plenty of real estate in that area, maybe West Valley can get their own Costco or who knows, Trader Joes? We can wish.
