Outback Steakhouse Closes Restaurants Across the United States

Outback Steakhouse has been a great place in Yakima and other towns for so many years. Imagine thinking it's time to revisit the Blooming Onion to find out that your local Outback Steakhouse is now closed in some towns across the country.

This nightmare is a reality for many as the parent company is closing 41 locations of Outback Steakhouse and other restaurants including Bonefish Grill across the US according to CNN Business.

Is Outback Steakhouse Still Open in WA?

Good news. Yep!

Of the ones that have closed, there have been reported closures in Hawaii, Pennsylvania, and Iowa. Bonefish Grill had some closings in New Jersey and Virginia. Washington and our friends in Oregon and California seem to have made the cut.

There were also closings of their other restaurants, Carrabba’s Italian Grill and Fleming's, but we don't have those in Washington state but may have several locations in California. As of this time, there's no report on any of the California locations closing.

Silver lining, however. Though they're closing some locations, they're planning on opening 18 locations across the United States, with the new 2022 design. So there's hope for those locations.
