Prosser Memorial Health Summer Safety Event Delights Kids And Families

Prosser Memorial Health held their annual Summer Safety event. One of the major draws was free life jackets for the kids.

They also had free hot dogs and chips, fun activities for kids to do like sidewalk chalk and stuff you can take home like frisbees, sunscreen, and more.

They also had a firetruck on site so kids could see a firetruck up close and in full supervision with a member of the fire department explaining what everything is to curious kids.

They also had bubbles. This was fun as there was a breeze the entire time so you didn't even need to blow them, just dip the wands and the bubble blew themselves.

We were live at two locations, the Prosser Memorial Health clinic in Prosser and the location in Grandview.

If you couldn't make it this time, there's always next year. They've been doing this several years running as a completely free event for kids that happens to take place in their parking lot.

Here's hoping they'll do it again next year. I'm sure they will and, if they do, I'm sure we'll be out there again broadcasting live on location as it's fun for us to get out of the studios and get out in the public as often as we can.
