Ronnie Dunn is set to release a brand-new solo album, Tattooed Heart, this fall. The project will be his first full-length disc since signing with Big Machine Label Group's Nash Icon Records in early 2015.

Due out on Oct. 21, Tattooed Heart features 12 tracks that Dunn recorded in Nashville, Tenn.; eleven of the songs were produced by Rascal Flatts' Jay DeMarcus.

“I had a lot of fun making this album. Jay and I really clicked in the studio, and we were both really proud of the final product," Dunn says in a press release. “I branched out of my comfort zone while writing and listening to a ton of music."

That branching out includes selecting an Ariana Grande song, "Tattooed Heart," to cover for the project. Dunn explains that it was his daughter's suggestion to record one of the pop star's songs; "[i]ronically," he adds, "it became the title of the album."

Tattooed Heart also features two special guests: Reba McEntire lends her voice to "Still Feels Like Mexico," and Kix Brooks joins his longtime Brooks & Dunn partner on "Damn Drunk."

"It's about going to the beach and staying at a cheap motel and partying, like everybody does in Cancun. Spring Break, but not really Spring Break," Dunn tells Rolling Stone of his collaboration with McEntire. "It's two people reminiscing, looking back at what it was like. If we never go back to Mexico, we got it."

A full track listing for Tattooed Heart can be seen below. The disc will be available for pre-order beginning on Sept. 23, and “Damn Drunk” is available for download on iTunes now.

Although Brooks & Dunn split up in September of 2010, there’s no animosity between the two artists. In addition to singing together on "Damn Drunk," they've been performing in Las Vegas with McEntire, with dates currently scheduled into 2017.
