Just in time for the holidays, huh?

These certain eggs sold at Costco have previously had a recall on them but now they just raised the flag to the highest alert due to salmonella exposure, as reported by aol.

These are from the 24 count Kirkland-brand eggs from Costco.

Kirkland Signature ORGANIC EGGS PASTURE-RAISED 24 EGGS, GRADE A LARGE, NET WEIGHT 48OZ (3 LB) 1.36 kg, UPC 0 96619 10680 6, DISTRIBUTED BY: COSTCO WHOLESALE CORPORATION 730 LAKE DRIVE, ISSAQUAH, WA 98027

FDA has issued a recall from these eggs at Costco.

We've had our share of product recalls more often than not in these last couple of years than ever before but I think it's because we're more aware and new can get out quicker than like what it once was in the 80s when you'd have to hear about it on the news or from a neighbor or friend calling you as they heard about it from somewhere else.

It's an unfortunate time of year as so much eggs to use for the holidays and in cooking and baking recipes. The last thing anyone would want is for someone to get sick this time of year.

Though states like Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee are the ones effected by this, these were distributed from Costco so I wouldn't take any chances.

If you happen to have these, you're welcome to return them for a full refund.
