Saturday in the Parks!
Today, a look at what many people call Yakima’s “Arts Park.”
Gilbert Park is located at 50th and West Lincoln Avenues. Its large expanse of green space is surrounded by beautiful homes. It is also home to Yakima’s Allied Arts Center and Warehouse Theatre.
Its facilities are somewhat limited to mostly picnic tables. It does offer a walking labyrinth that gives users a chance to relax and meditate. Allied Arts also offers a Sunday evening outdoor movie program during summer.
