I can't believe it's that time of year again -- when the city of Selah invites you to celebrate Selah Community Days with hometown pride. It's always the third weekend in May and this year that'll be Thursday (May 14) through Sunday (May 17).

And this morning, the Morning Bull Pen had the honor of a royal visit from the celebration's queen and two of her princesses. They let Michele try on a tiara ... which might've been a mistake:

 

Anyhow, Selah Community Days kick off Thursday with the Hobo Feed from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. as we broadcast live from the Red Apple Market parking lot across from the Selah Civic Center, 216 S. First St. A HUGE thank you to Northtown Coffee of Selah, Tree Top, Graf Investments and The Pastime Burgers, Brews and Spirits.

Thursday
9 a.m. to 8 p.m. -- FREE Lions Club Health Screening Unit in the Red Apple parking lot
4:30 -8 p.m. -- Hobo Feed Stew at the Civic Center hosted by Selah Covenant Church
5 p.m. -- Carnival opens with Buddy Night. Buy one wristband get one free at Lince Field

Friday
5-8 p.m. -- Chamber Potato Feed at the Selah Civic Center
6-10 p.m. -- CRUZ Nite at Wixson Park. Cars, bikes and a truck show
4 p.m. -- Carnival opens

Saturday
6-10 a.m. -- Kiwanis Pancake Feed at the Civic Center
10 a.m. -- Grand Parade makes its way down North Wenas Road to Jim Clements Way
4 p.m. -- Carnival opens

Sunday
Noon-6 p.m. -- Food, games and vendors at Wixson Park
Noon -- Veterans honor ceremony at Wixson Park
1-5 p.m. -- FREE entertainment at Wixson Park
