Shred & RX Take Back Day!

Saturday (October 26th) will be Identity Theft Awareness Shred & Take Back Prescription Meds Day! This free event will be taking place between 9am till 1pm at Solarity Credit Union (110 No. 5th Ave. in Yakima) & the Justice Center (401 Homer Street in Sunnyside).

The event is put on by Crime Stoppers & looks to help combat & prevent identity theft by shredding documents (bills/sensitive documents/tax forms/personal items). They are also offering a free way to safety dispose of your old prescription drugs and old medicine, helping prevent it from going back into the community and schools.

This event is free, but donations are welcome! Shredding material is limited to two banker boxes or three shopping bags of personal items per drop off. No limit on RX drugs you can dispose of.
