Folk, country and Americana music icons Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt will be performing an acoustic show one night only in Yakima on March 9, 2017, in the historic Capitol Theatre.

Yakima gets a chance to hear the area's newest chamber choral ensemble tonight (May 24). Canticus will perform with the West Valley High School Choir at the 4th Street Theatre (in The Capitol Theatre) this evening at 7. The program includes madrigals, sacred music -- even American folk songs, as conductor Scott Peterson explains:
