Soooooo I had a traumatizing baking experience, so I don't do it often. But this recipe..it may just be my saving grace.

It's girl scout cookie season and you're looking to buy some thin mints, samoas and whatever else you're craving. Here's a list of times and places where you can, not only, buy girl scout cookies but those sales help our good friends at Children's Village and the great things they do for our kids in the Yakima Valley.

This is not the way the cookie is supposed to crumble.

As a fan snack foods, I feel obligated to try them all at least once. Oreo, within the past few years, have certainly branched out with different ideas and flavors of their popular cookie. Yesterday was the first time I was surprised with their new Mega Stuf Oreo. But, is it worth it?

This morning Gunner and I received a box full of delicious cookies from a wonderful listener Valerie! She made us snicker doodles, peanut butter chocolate chip and a cookie that I think is heavenly! It is chocolate chip, toffee and white chocolate chip...

Once in a while I get lucky and have the pleasure of knowing people who know how to bake! I enjoy reaping the benefits of those types of goodies and these Butter Sugar Cookies are AMAZING!

It wasn't too long ago that Oreos started coming in this newer, easier to open, package. Nice that it gives you easy access with resealable cover, but the Oreos on the side rows are hard to get at.

The economy has hit the Girl Scouts. In an effort to cut costs, several Girl Scout councils are cutting the types of cookies they sell. Among the brands on the chopping block are the Thank U Berry Munch, Dulce de Leche, and several more. The goal is for the Girl Scouts to simplify their sales process and, in the process, make more money.
