The City of Yakima announced that it has officially determined to close on of the town's most popular swimming pools at Franklin Park for the duration of 2020.
Franklin Pool opens its doors for the first time this year on Thursday, June 14th. The pool will be open seven days a week from June 14th through August 25th.
A staple tradition in the Yakima Valley is a dip in Franklin Pool on Tieton Drive during the hot summer months. Yakima Transit is a way many will get to the pool, so they teamed up to get you a free ride on the bus with paid admission to Franklin Pool.
For the 10th straight year, dog owners can take a dip with their pooch as part of "Paws in the Pool." Franklin Pool will close out the summer swim season on Aug. 28 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. with the annual event.
Admission is free for dogs, but their masters will have to purchase a general admission ticket...
