Yesterday Gunner and I where treated to the best tamales EVER! Rachel from Los Hernandez was kind enough to bring in asparagus, chicken, and pork tamales. The tamales are made fresh daily. The asparagus tamales are seasonal and this will probably be the last weekend that they make them.

Growing up in the Lower Valley and having friends that their mothers would make Homemade Tamales was always a big treat! When I was working in the Hop harvest, some of the ladies would take orders from us guys working on the night shift for their Tamales. (they made a killing on me!) I am getting that craving again, and just in time for this weekend!
