As usual, the United States Marine Corps showed up first. And come Christmas, a whole lot of Yakima Valley kids will be glad they did. But the Marines weren't the only ones who rolled into Steve Hahn Volkswagen-Kia-Mercedes Benz for the sake of this year's Toys for Tots drive Friday morning...

Friday, December 11th at 6am the United States Marine Corps will be hanging out at 1st and Mead with their M 1 A 1 tank. Every year the USMC and 94.5 KATS-FM, 92.9 The Bull, 1073 KFFM, News-talk 1280 KIT, 1460 ESPN and Mega 99.3 teams up with Steve Hahn Volkswagen, KIA and Mercedes Benz of Yakima to gather up as much money and toys as we can for 'Toys For Tots' foundation.

Toys for Tots is and non-profit organization headed up by the USMC. It started in 1947 and has been growing strong ever since gathering up toys and money so that all kids have a new toy for Christmas. We did a chili cook off at Owens with USMC Bravo Company 4th Tank Battalion and it was a huge success.

The United States Marine Corps will be on hand this Saturday (Nov. 14) at Dickey's Barbecue Pit to accept brand-new toys for their excellent program for children, Toys for Tots.

Fourteen days until we all relax with family and enjoy a merry Little Christmas. But some families don't always have the means to enjoy the holidays like those of us who've been especially blessed this year. That's why we want to team up with Steve Hahn to make a difference in a few special lives...

The annual Toys for Tots Bike Run is going down this Sunday in Yakima. We will be kicking it off at the Albertsons parking lot on 16th Avenue at 1 p.m.! Please bring a new, unwrapped toy that day -- or stop by the radio station, 4010 Summitview, and make sure Kelly West gets the toy...

Join 929 The Bull's Rik and Michele as they help Steve Hahn Dealerships collect toys for Toys For Tots tomorrow at Steve Hahn's car lot at 1st and Mead in Yakima.

Legends Casino, the Marines and 92.9 The Bull were in front of the Shopko in Union Gap today collecting cash and toys for the "Toys For Tots" program. Over $200 in cash was collected along with over 30 toys.  Thank you so much for you donations...

Today at Jack in the Box on S. 1st street we kicked of the first of many stops to raise money and collect toys and cash for needy children here in the Yakima Valley.  This holiday season is going to be tough on families and we want to help those in need. We have teamed up with the US Marines and Legends Casino to setup shop at different locations around the area.
