Thanksgiving on the Mayflower Kicked Off This Morning

Gunner and myself kicked off the Thanksgiving on the Mayflower this morning at 6am in a chilly 26 degrees!

What is Thanksgiving on the Mayflower you ask? It's all part of our 10 deeds in 10 days sponsored by Bill Harris Used Cars in Selah and it benefits the YWCA, Rod's House and the Selah Food Bank.

Gunner will live on top of the Mayflower truck parked in Wray's parking lot on Summitview and 56th until the truck is full of food. He only has a tent, sleeping bag, and porta-potty.

Star Rentals kicked off the morning by donating $350 and challenging other businesses to meet that donation. Get your co workers together, business, friends and family to gather up food or cash donations.

There are volunteers at the bottom of the Mayflower to take your donations, so if you want you don't even need to get out of your car!
