THANK YOU.  That is the best way to wrap up "Thanksgiving on the Mayflower".  It was because of your generosity, area Food Banks will be able to provide food for needy families in the Yakima Valley this Holiday Season.

We received around $2,500 in cash and thousands of pounds of non-perishable food items.  Our goal of filling the Mayflower truck was reached and surpassed.  Thank you so much.

I gotta tell you, it was miserable living on top of that Mayflower Moving Truck.  But it was for a great cause and our mission to create awareness and bring in food was accomplished.  So it was all worth it.

I do want to thank Bill Harris, Wrays, Grumpy's Outdoor Supply, Star Rentals, Selah Septic, Crown Moving Inc, Starbucks, Rods House, YWCA, Selah Food Bank, Catering Creations by Toni, and the great listeners who brought me coffee throughout the weekend.  THANK YOU!  I really cannot say it enough.  If it wasn't for you, I may still be on that Mayflower truck today.  So Thank You!

Also, thank you to KIMA TV for covering this event.  The reason we did this was to create awareness and generate a significant amount of money and food for area charities.  It's great to see local tv news still covering good community stories!

Here's a photo gallery of some photo's taken over the course of the weekend.
