The Top 3 Drunkest Streets In Yakima [POLL]

Someone asked me if I knew the "drunkest street in Yakima," and I was like, "I dunno! You're asking the WRONG person for the answer to that question, ha, ha, ha!"

So I asked my friends on Facebook for their opinions, and below I present to you the rankings based on their responses. Please take the poll, though, and let me know which street YOU would choose.

    Yakima Ave

    There are a host of at least 10 bars and bar/restaurants (not to mention wineries) nestled within the four-block walk from North Third Street down to North First Avenue. It's no wonder that my friends declared Yakima Avenue as the No. 1 Drunkest Street in Yakima.

    North Second Street

    Just off Yakima Avenue, at the intersection of North Second Street, seemed to be the No. 2 pick for Drunkest Street in Yakima. Well, at least it's close enough to the jail and the courthouse, should things get out of hand!

    North First Street

    There are mostly HO-tels, MO-tels, and restaurants on North First Street as one heads into the city of Selah or on the road to the freeways, but that doesn't stop it from being the No. 3 choice for Drunkest Street in Yakima. Probably because my friends suspect there's a little something extra the ladies are carrying in those Big Gulp cups.

Honorable Mentions:

My Facebook friends had some other choices for the Drunkest Street in Yakima, which didn't make the top three on the list.

Chesterley Park, as you have to be sober to pronounce it. - John

Statistically speaking, it's probably Lateral A in Wapato. There's an alcohol-caused fatality there about once a week, it seems (either the driver, the pedestrian or both). - John

If you mean stupid streets that don't make sense, I vote that round about [sic] by the freeway. It's super confusing and easy to take the wrong exit. "Go home round about, you're drunk." - Nicole
