This Weekend is your Last Chance to Buy Girl Scout Cookies
If you happen to see our local Girl Scouts selling their famous Girl Scout Cookies this weekend, better act fast and grab enough for the summer as this weekend is your last chance to buy Girl Scout Cookies.
Samoas, Thin Mints and more -- all not available from your local Girl Scouts after this weekend.
On one hand, it's a shame but on the other hand, it's nice there's that window of opportunity to stock up and load up while we can.
Thin Mints are a popular favorite and, best of all, they freeze very well. I'll usually buy a few boxes and leave them in the freezer so when that late summer party or even a house warming party or something comes up later in the year, the look of shock and surprise on so many people's faces when I show up with a box of Thin Mints, you'd think I'd be walking in with a golden chalice. You can never go wrong with Thin Mints any time of year.
Most boxes of Girl Scout Cookies are a solid five dollars each box with a few boxes going for a little more at six dollars each.
I witnessed one nice lady standing in front of the stand and, after asking the two girl scouts which one was their favorite, the lady bought a box of each of their recommendations, then gifted it back to the girl scouts. So even if they're not for you, you're still supporting a great cause.
