I don't know anything about art, but I know what I like.

That's exactly how I feel about the work of artist Noah Verrier.

Noah paints with oils but instead of lush landscapes or wildlife, Noah's paintings are a little more for the traditional common-man.

Still life of comfort food. What's not to love? Here are a few more.

And so on and so forth.

Noah was even featured in People Magazine for his art being in the movie Mean Girls.

What caught my eye this morning, however, was this new painting of one of my favorite snacks - an Uncrustable.

Uncrustables are one of those items from the freezer section where, when I first heard of them, I thought they were pointless. I mean, I could make my own peanut butter and jelly sandwich for way less than buying a box of these. And I don't mind the crust so it's all good.

However, when I did finally try one, I understood it. It's convenient more than anything. Yes, at the end of the day, it's still just a frozen peanut butter and jelly sandwich that you have to let sit at room temperature for a few minutes for it so soften.

Or, if you're like me, you're not waiting. You just bite straight into it. The bread and jelly will be soft enough while the peanut butter may be a bit stiff but that's no problem.

Then I saw this art from Noah who is currently selling the original on eBay and, after more than 30 bids, it's already over $3,000.

I know Uncrustables are a little pricy for what they are, but this is art and needs to be enjoyed.

If the price of the oil painting is a little hard to swallow, he is also selling prints for a much reduced rate. I may just opt for that. You can grab a signed print , a 'ready to hang' canvas print, and a hand embellished print.
