It's been just a little under a week since Walker Hayes and his wife Laney suffered the tragic loss of their newborn daughter, Oakleigh Klover, just days before her due date. Hayes has been understandably quiet since announcing the sad news, but returned to social media on Tuesday (June 12) to send a sweet message to Laney in honor of their 14th wedding anniversary.

Hayes shared a photo of his wife in what appears to be an impromptu snap, sitting on a stroller at the mall with several of their six children in tow and a big smile on her face.

Although the photo clearly documents just a casual, everyday moment—and probably one Laney herself never thought about twice—the singer is moved by its inherent beauty.

"I love this picture of Laney the most," Hayes captioned the photo. "I hope all of our kids find someone they could stare at forever… and feel like I do when I look at this. Happy 14th anniversary to us.”

The Hayes family did not reveal any details around their seventh child's death, except to note that she had been born and passed away the same day. The couple had planned a home birth, due to the fact that their babies have historically arrived quickly, but delivered Oakleigh at the hospital.

Hayes and his wife have three other daughters, as well as three sons. The "You Broke Up With Me" singer says that he and Laney decided more than a decade ago that they wanted to raise a large family.
