Walmart is that perfect store that has just about anything you can need, all at once. If you need a frozen lasagna, case of red bull, the newest breakfast cereal, some WWE action figures, white tulips, a new toilet seat, Resident Evil 4 on Playstation 5, buckshot, a US-to-UK power plug converter and new underwear, you can purchase it all on the same receipt. But now that you have all of that, how are you going to carry it home? I mean, you just popped in to Walmart really quick for a pair of socks and now you're walking out with all this other stuff. No worries, you can just grab a bag or two at the counter for 8 cents.

Well, not anymore.

As of recently, those 8 cent plastic bags at the register are no longer available. They do have those canvas bags for sale but are no longer selling the convenient bags for the low, low price of $0.08.

It's unfortunate, too, as I love those bags. I repurpose those often for liners for my wastepaper baskets or quick spot-clean up sessions around the kitchen.

Now I have to bring my own, which I honestly don't mind, but had no issues paying 8 cents as I knew I'd be using those as well in good time.

So, what to do in the meantime? Well, I wasn't about to pay for a canvas bag so I just put all the stuff back on my shopping cart and went to my car where I did have an empty grocery sack I often keep as a 'just in case' so I was taken care of but now I'll have to bring my own bags or a box or maybe even a backpack. I mean, if they're not going to provide me a bag, they can't fuss about how I carry the stuff I just bought.

Just bringing it to your attention as I was surprised by it.
