Yakima is no stranger to heat, even in May, but 100 degrees? We'll see how it goes.
According to the weather forecast, Yakima's weather tomorrow (Saturday, May 20) has an expected high of 95 degrees.
...so, 95 and not 100?
Well, let me explain.
Yakima's expected high is 95. However, as we know, Yakima seems to trend higher than expected so though the weather forecast may say it's 95 degrees, your car's dashboard and bank signs that also give the weather may say 100. I bet it'll happen.
What's worse is though Yakima is often a dry heat, we're experience humidity more than we typically might under this heat. Even if it doesn't get all the way up to 100 degrees, exactly, the air will just feel heavier and your body will want to sweat more too cool you off as much as it can so be weary of that.
Stay hydrated and stay cool; best you can.

To find out more about how has the price of gas changed throughout the years, Stacker ran the numbers on the cost of a gallon of gasoline for each of the last 84 years. Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (released in April 2020), we analyzed the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline from 1976 to 2020 along with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for unleaded regular gasoline from 1937 to 1976, including the absolute and inflation-adjusted prices for each year.

The 2020 County Health Rankings values were calculated using mortality counts from the 2016-2018 National Center for Health Statistics. The U.S. Census 2019 American Community Survey and America's Health Rankings Senior Report 2019 data were also used to provide demographics on the senior population of each state and the state's rank on senior health care, respectively.

Using March 2019 data from the Social Security Administration, Stacker compiled a list of the most popular names in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C., according to their 2018 SSA rankings. The top five boy names and top five girl names are listed for each state, as well as the number of babies born in 2018 with that name. Historically common names like Michael only made the top five in three states, while the less common name Harper ranks in the top five for 22 states.
