Not too long ago Fly YKM reached out on social media asking what type of snacks or food options you'd like to see at Yakima's airport when waiting for your flight to Seattle. It's only a 22 minute flight but they don't offer beverage service because of the short flight so it's nice to grab something before flying out on your own.

I flew out over the weekend and saw it first hand so wanted to share it with you.

Due to the limited staff, I hope you weren't expecting an actual barista or sandwich artist to make you something fresh. They have, however, added a few new vending machines as well as a seating area and more options to charge your electronics before you fly out. I'm all for it.

One of the vending machines has milk, chocolate milk, strawberry milk, giant cookies, and even lunchables. Very handy.

They have plenty of coffee options in this machine. Premium blend, french vanilla, americanos, mochas, and even hot chocolate if you don't care for coffee. They also have decaf for some reason.

They also have your standard selection of chips, soda, water, and other things easy to carry in your coat pocket or in your backpack or purse.

They even have a microwave to use as needed.

All in all, a nice improvement of the previous option of just a soda machine and snack machine.
