Yakima Light Project Officially Open, Watch The Unveiling [VIDEO]

The mission of the Yakima Light Project Gallery is to expand the visual arts for downtown Yakima. Exhibits emphasize the artistic talents of Central Washington artists, offer the residents of Yakima opportunities to experience art from beyond the Valley and to celebrate one of Yakima's premier natural resources: 300 days of light.

Exploration of light as a medium is one concentration of the gallery, while art in every form will be exhibited. Yakima Light Project Gallery aims to point the way to artists and cultural partners in our community.

The Grand Opening Show “Our Light” will celebrate the organizations and individuals who have worked cooperatively to develop the Yakima Light Project Gallery. Attendees can expect to see visual art works of locally acclaimed artist and many works by artists from beyond the valley.

The Yakima Light Project Gallery will be officially open March 27 with regular gallery hours.
